Croftstone Acres Farm

We are a very small operation in Greenville, SC experiencing our first year. This year is all about learning. Plans are to eat or share the majority of what is produced and to sell any potential excesses. I hope to eventually be a multi-plot urban farm that provides extra income for my family and fresh, nutritious food for the families in Community with us. I also hope to create relationships, further knowledge, increase beauty, and glorify God through our farm and its radius of influence.

What a difference a week makes…

The high today is supposed to be 80 degrees! The past two days have been in the mid-70s and sunny. This has given me the chance to finish tilling and get my spinach and radishes planted. After work today, tomorrow, and Wednesday I’ll be planting broccoli transplants, cabbage transplants, romaine lettuce transplants, bibb lettuce, carrot, and turnip seed. I’m excited that Daylight Savings Time is affording me more time to work during the week so weekends aren’t so packed.
