Croftstone Acres Farm

We are a very small operation in Greenville, SC experiencing our first year. This year is all about learning. Plans are to eat or share the majority of what is produced and to sell any potential excesses. I hope to eventually be a multi-plot urban farm that provides extra income for my family and fresh, nutritious food for the families in Community with us. I also hope to create relationships, further knowledge, increase beauty, and glorify God through our farm and its radius of influence.

Trim any leaves off the stem leaving only the 3 or 4 shoots with leaves at the top of the transplant. Then loosen the clump of soil and roots by gently squeezing and working it with your fingers. Place the transplant in the trench and cover it with soil up to just below the first shoot with leaves. It’s ok if it’s leaning; it will naturally straighten as it grows.
